SATURDAY, Aug. 21 A headstone conservation seminar will be offered at the German Valley Rural Cemetery from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cemetery is located at 80 Coleman Road in Long Valley. The seminar will be lead by Jonathan Appell, a conservator based in West Hartford, Conn. The cemetery was founded in 1865. For information, call (908) 876-4462.
