Cebu City bans firecracker use except in South Road Properties
Cebu CITY, Philippines %26ndash; Residents of this city are now banned from using firecrackers outside their homes as a city ordinance specified that only the South Road Properties (SRP) is the only designated firecracker zone. The ordinance aims to prevent injuries as well as fire accidents especially in greeting the New Year, said Cebu City Mobile Patrol Group Chief Armando Radoc in a recent forum.
